World Urban Forum is a biennial
summit held by the UN-HABITAT every two years on
urban development in the world, and the top
conference concerning human habitation. The
World Urban Forum is concerned with such issues
as energy, environment, land, housing,
infrastructure, healthcare, education, safety
and reform of ghettos, which are pressing issues
that deserve the participation of national and
local governments, NGOs, experts and scholars,
entrepreneurs, citizens and organizations from
all walks of life. WUF reports and resolutions
are to be submitted to government agencies to
form guidelines for future development for human
society.
Networking events give Habitat
Agenda Partners a unique opportunity to share
their knowledge, experiences and good practices
for a better understanding of the challenges
posed by rapid urbanization. They are intended
to help build knowledge, strengthen existing
partnerships and create new linkages between
partner organizations.
