The
Executive Summary provides an
introduction to the ECE Program
Peer-review Meeting by placing it in
the context of the activities that
led to its initiation, detailing its
objectives and indicating
expectations which participants had
for the meeting. The Executive
Summary also contains an account of
the contributions that participants
perceived the ECE Program to have
made to their work, states
recommendations that have been given
for follow-up in terms of pilot
activities and research studies.
(Recommendations that resulted
specifically from each meeting
session are listed at the end of
each section.)
The
subsequent sections of the report
roughly follow the meeting agenda
(Appendix 1), and are structured as
Presentation Highlights, Discussion
Points and Recommendations. A
tremendous amount of material was
presented at the meeting, both in
printed paper form and presentation
slides, and it would not be feasible
to reproduce it in this report.
However, a separate collection of
these materials will be compiled and
made available upon request.
