VOLUNTEER - TRAINING AND CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

The volunteer is for supporting the core training and capacity development of ADPC Academy. The ADPC Academy is the capacity development department that hosts all of the ADPC flagship training programs and supports other training and capacity development activities through comprehensive training and capacity needs assessments, training design, delivery, and evaluation. It fosters long-term partnerships with national training institutions, universities, and research and development agencies to provide customized training and capacity development tools through face-to-face as well as e-learning modalities.

PROJECT COORDINATOR

The Project Coordinator will coordinate with concerned government agencies and other stakeholders to actively participate and guide in implementation of URCE program in Viet Nam. Provide support to the development of guidelines, tools,training materials, publications. Support the program team in monitoring of the implementation progress and evaluation of program impacts.

URBAN RESILIENCE EXPERT (CONSULTANT)

The Urban Resilience Expert (Consultant) will consult with the relevant stakeholders (National and City level) through Focus GroupDiscussions (FGDs) and Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) for collecting data,information etc. to understand the current context ,gaps and challenge. Study & review relevant legislations (laws, acts, etc.)and executive documents (Policies, Strategies etc.)/ data/information on urban governance, recovery and redevelopment in Viet Nam.

INTERN (CLIMATE AND SECTORAL POLICIES)

To support the Urban Resilience to Climate Extreme (URCE) in Southeast Asia Program, ADPC is looking for an Intern to assist in conducting a systematic and evidence-based review of legislative documents (Laws, Acts, Decrees) and executive documents (Policies, Guidelines, Plans, Strategies, Frameworks) documents for climate, and other key sectors such as urban, water, infrastructure, transport, agriculture, energy in East Asia and the Pacific. The Intern will identify the linkages between climate and sectoral documents in East Asia and the Pacific.  The intern will be responsible for supporting the program team with any other assigned tasks. The Intern will work under the overall supervision of the Director, the Climate Resilience (CLR) Department. This position is located in Bangkok, Thailand.

SERVIR-SEA SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS & OUTREACH ADVISOR

The SERVIR-SEA SeniorCommunications & Outreach Advisor leads all the communications and outreach activities ofthe project SERVIR-Southeast Asia while giving advice on the GeospatialInformation Department’s overall communication products. The SERVIR-SEA Senior Communications & Outreach Advisor also serves as the SERVIR-SEA Deputy Chief ofParty (DCOP), supporting the Chief of Party on the operations of the projectand working closely with the project’s communications specialist(s),Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Specialist (MEL Specialist), Capacity DevelopmentLead, and other team members.

GENDER EQUITY AND SOCIAL INCLUSION (GESI) SPECIALIST

TECHNICAL LEAD, RESILIENT RECOVERY

ADPC is looking for a suitable candidate for the Technical Lead, Resilient Recovery position based in ADPC's head office in Bangkok, Thailand, with possible extended deployment to program countries as needed. 

Under the overall guidance and supervision of the Director, PRR, the Technical Lead, Resilient Recovery will lead the implementation of identified programs of the Preparedness for Response and Recovery (PRR) Department of ADPC. The Technical Lead, Resilient Recovery, is responsible for designing, managing, and guiding the implementation of identified programs in the PRR Department through meticulous planning, review, and strong leadership. 

Core responsibility areas include strategic planning, program design and development, implementation, integrated knowledge management, partner relations and coordination, finance, and budget compliance, monitoring and evaluation, staff supervision, and program reporting. In addition, he/she will ensure that programs are implemented in line with ADPC's strategy, meet the needs of beneficiaries, and are implemented to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.

E-LEARNING COURSE DEVELOPMENT ON HOSPITAL PREPAREDNESS FOR EMERGENCIES

To develop a self-paced online course in MOOC format for Hospital Preparedness for Emergencies (HOPE) under the PEER program administered by the Preparedness for Response and Recovery (PRR) Department. The focus of the course will be on the management, leadership, and coordination roles of hospital managers during emergencies.
