Bureau of Meteorology, Australia established in 1906, provides
overall national strategic planning, management and coordination of the
Bureau’s integrated observations, telecommunications and computing
infrastructure and its weather, climate and hydrological services. Cyclone
information such as forecasting, warning, preparedness and safety procedures
etc can be found on the site.

India Meteorological Department, apart from providing daily and
weekly advisories, hosts information such as weather charts, satellite
images, rainfall maps, climate normals and services provided by the department.

National Hurricane Center hosted by NOAA is a comprehensive website
on hurricanes and storms. It includes information on cyclone awareness,
satellite images, advisories, forecasting models, hurricane history,
library, publications etc.

Philippines Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services
Administration PAGASA website launched its new site on March 21 2003. It
serves as a common repository of weather information such as weather maps
and satellite images, cyclone tracks, and information on flood forecasting,
climatology and disaster reduction.

The Tropical Cyclone Program (TCP) is part of WMO's World Weather
Watch Applications Department tasked to establish national and regionally
coordinated systems to ensure that the loss of life and damage caused by
tropical cyclones are reduced to a minimum. The programme is affected on
both national and regional levels through cooperative action. It provides
latest advisories and active storm warnings, storm names up to year 2005,
storm facts, operational plans, information on activities and events,
publication etc.

The United Nations ESCAP Tropical Cyclone Panel and
Typhoon Committee hosted on the WMO's site provide information on the
activities of the two organizations in the region. It also publishes some of

UNISYS Weather/Hurricane Data hosted by the Unisys (a worldwide
information technology services and solutions company) includes hurricane
archives back to 1886 and tracks of each individual storm. It also includes
tracks for eastern Pacific and western Pacific hurricanes and typhoons,
Atlantic aviation forecasts showing pressure and wind fields, and current
satellite imagery for the Atlantic and Pacific.

website has been given a complete facelift. The new website is more dynamic
and interactive, and allows for better and quicker service such as an
