How to Participate?
Congratulations! You are one step closer to help raise awareness on disaster preparedness in South Korea and the entire world!
Let's go through the requirements.
1. Choose a disaster topic that you are most interested in and related to your current studies.
Navigate around the virtual map on the Homepage or click "Explore" in the top-right corner to read some published stories for inspiration.
2. Write an essay exploring new disaster preparedness strategies, or recommend some actions that you feel would help a specific community reduce their disaster impacts.
Think of your personal experiences - what have you witnessed? How do you feel the community could have handled a disaster better?
3. Submit your project by going to the iPrepare website and clicking “Assignment Desk”. Fill in the online submission form and congratulate yourself on your great work!
Alternatively, you may email us your assignment along with a completed "Email Submission Form" to adpc@adpc.net
Remember: the winning entry will be the most informative, creative and original. Use your resources and have fun!

Important Information:
- The deadline for submission is 16 December, 2019
- All essays must be original work of the participant(s)
- Participants can work individually or in groups of 2-3
- Essays can be submitted in both English (minimum 800 words) and Korean (minimum 600 characters)
- Lastly, don't forget to add any photos or videos to make your words come to life!
Interviews always make news stories better. We highly encourage you to go out
and ask your local community some great questions. This will surely improve your
submissions and increase your chances of winning!
