COURSE SCHEDULE

This course is a pure face-to-face course. It will take place from 21 to 25 July 2025.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

We have witnessed unprecedented devastation in human lives and property in recent years due to floods. South Asian and Southeast Asian nations have endured some of the most severe floods in recent memory, resulting in the displacement of thousands of people and the loss of hundreds of millions of dollars. These events are directly linked to shifts in climatic conditions, primarily driven by human activities.

Our course takes a comprehensive approach to address flood risk reduction strategies, offering a holistic perspective on flood risks and their mitigation. It presents a unique combination of theoretical insights and hands-on exercises that delve into international and local experiences in managing flood risks. Join us in exploring innovative ways to combat flood-related challenges and develop effective flood risk management strategies.
