This Case Study highlights the initiatives of ADPC in strengthening Impact-based Forecasting and Warning (IbFW) in Viet Nam. ADPC supported Viet Nam in establishing IbFW through a readiness assessment, developing a Decision Support System (DSS), and creating a comprehensive action plan and strategy. The DSS is being piloted in two target cities of Viet Nam, namely, Nam Dinh and My Tho cities. These initiatives are part of the "Urban Resilience to Climate Extremes in Southeast Asia (URCE)" program, supported by the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad), aiming to bolster urban resilience against climate extremes in Viet Nam.
