A regional dialogue was organized with Curtin University and Thailand's Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment with countries in the South and Southeast Asia region, namely: Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Viet Nam.
The meeting focused on the goals and targets of each country within different economic sectors, stocktaking analysis from the national workshops, showcasing substantial solutions, and a compilation of support needs, which will all eventually lead to developing a framework on how Australia can support countries in the region in implementing their respective NDCs.
The Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) has commissioned ADPC and Curtin University Australia to develop a framework for facilitating NDCs in Indo-Pacific countries
