Results of the project have included consensus for mainstreaming DRR in the education
sector and identification of additional mainstreaming opportunities in education and related
ministries. It is envisaged that the experience obtained throughout the project activities will serve
as a good example for drawing lessons on how to mainstream DRR into development policy and
planning. Moreover, this can also be adapted in other countries.
