As part of International Disaster Response Capacity Building for ROK Humanitarian Actors, IOM and its partners convened a 5-day Climate Risk Management (CRM) Training for up to 30 ROK governmental and non-governmental humanitarian actors. Developed in response to increasing climate-related risks and vulnerabilities, and consequent proneness to disaster in the Asia-Pacific, CRM is one of the most respected hazard-specific training programmes in the region.
KEY ACTIVITIES
- Developed a course curriculum and materials
- Provided IOM with relevant training materials including reference documents at least ten working days before the beginning of the training
- Delivered a climate risk management (CRM) training in the Seoul metropolitan area at the location identified by IOM
