The project on Building Long-Term Resilience to Flood Impacts in Hat Yai under the Asian Cities Climate Change Resilience Network (ACCCRN) is supported by the US-based Rockefeller Foundation and managed by the Thailand Environment Institute Foundation (TEI Foundation) to be in accordance with the project proposal; ACCCRN Hat Yai is its main operator and the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center is a major agency providing technical assistance in various aspects of the project, such as the running of activities for the development database on inundation forecasts. The project?s aim is to build up resilience through the development of procedure for strategic planning initiatives that will build capacity to cope with flood warnings and implementing actions for preventing and mitigating floods.
