Description
Asian Disaster Preparedness Centre (ADPC) in partnership with IMHEN is implementing the project on Enhancing Coastal Community Resilience to Natural Hazards in Vietnam (CCR Project). The project aims to strengthen the resilience of coastal communities in Vietnam through an innovative approach that integrates disaster risk management, climate change adaptation and coastal resource management for a safer, more resilient coastal development in Vietnam.
Key Activities
1. Capacity building through national level training
2. Organization of regional knowledge-sharing meetings
3. Establishing multi-hazard early warning system and standard operation procedures (SOP) in pilot communities
4. Developing risk-sensitive coastal zone development guidelines
