Asian Disaster Preparedness Center and SIERRA International Medical Training Solutions have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on collaboration in building disaster risk reduction capacity in Southeast Asia.

The parties will cooperate in developing training exercises and a curriculum on disaster risk management and emergency response preparedness. The aim is to enhance the capacities of public administrations, civil society, and the private sector in preparing for natural hazards in the region, and to contribute to the implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction.

SIERRA International Medical Training Solutions is specialized in providing training on emergency response and pre-hospital and first-aid skills, among other themes.

Mr. Mohammed Hafif Othman, Director of Operations and Training of SIERRA International Medical Training Solutions & Dr. Jingjai Hanchanlash, Acting Executive Director of ADPC, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on future collaboration between the two organizations.
