Thanyaphat works in ADPC's Training Services Department to serve all ADPC's international, regional, and national courses logistically and technically.
She has provided ADPC with a wide range of experience in community-based disaster risk management (CBDRM). She has worked with local governments and NGOs in the Philippines, Banda Aceh, Indonesia and Lao in CBDRM and disaster management contexts. She has worked closely with the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation in developing CBDRM Leaderships Networking, and conducted a series of crisis management courses for Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, public health sector, NGOs and stakeholders in six Tsunami-effected provinces in the South of Thailand.
Thanyaphat has also provided technical assistance as well as served as trainer to International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) in damage assessment and needs analysis in Thailand and Lao.
Ms. Thanyaphat joined ADPC in 1994.
