Bangkok, Thailand – In a significant move towards strengthening disaster resilience in Thailand, ADPC, along with its partner, the Thai Network for Disaster Resilience (TNDR), discussed with the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) possible collaboration activities in 2024 to support the implementation of the Thailand National Disaster Risk Management Plan 2023-2027. This collaboration marks a critical step forward in the nation's efforts to enhance its preparedness, response, and recovery strategies in the face of increasing disaster risks.

Sri Lanka is among the nine founding member countries that has ratified the ADPC Charter along with Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, and Thailand.
