The FDRM-7 training course was
attended by eleven participants representing seven countries
namely, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Fiji, Thailand, Indonesia
and Kenya. The two-week course was successfully completed having
conducted varieties of learning inputs and field work/visit.
Training
Resource Group team composed of Mr. Steve Banks (TRG
Manager), Mr. Falak Nawaz (Training Manager), Ms. Jiang
Lingling, Ms. Heythee and Ms. Benjaporn, competently
facilitated the course together with the valuable contribution
of Dr. Gunna and Mr. Zorrobabel Zuniga. Significant
support was also provided by the Dept. of Disaster
Preparedness and Mitigation of Thailand and the office
of the Geo-Information & Space Technology Development
Agency (GISTDA) whose officers and personnel generously
shared their agency’s
operation.
