                     Visit in Thai Red Cross Office                  ( 28Nov2005 )

An eight-member delegation from the Church of South India visited ADPC for a study tour on the damages of the tsunami and emergency response & reconstruction in Thailand . Series of activities were provided including tour of the Dept. of Disaster Prevention & Mitigation under the Ministry of Interior of Thailand and a 1-day briefing sessions on ADPC’ s major programs and projects was held at AIT Conference Center. The delegation also proceeded to Phuket for field visit in tsunami affected communities.

Following the five day learning-filled visit on disaster management work, delegation coordinator Ms. Sarah Karunakaran together with Mr. Wilson Krupa Rao, signified interest to send more people from their organization to attend ADPC training courses.
