Description
Myanmar Consortium for Capacity Development on Disaster Management (MCCDDM) aims to develop disaster management capacity of a wide range of stakeholders through sustainable partnerships to enhance safer and resilient communities in Myanmar to be implemented through the MCCDDM consortium partners.
The MCCDDM consortium comprises of UN-Habitat as the Lead Applicant, Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development (ACTED), Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC), American Red Cross (with Myanmar Red Cross Society), SEEDS Asia, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), International Organization of Migration (IOM), Handicap International, Help Age International and ADSA whom have engaged extensively with the Government of Myanmar counterpart agencies to align its strategy to Myanmar's national Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) policy framework.
