Project Goal: successful implementation of Semarang?s urban resilience project and capacity building within the city team Project Objectives: to assist city team in delivering a high quality project including developing applicable exit strategy

Key Activities

1. Assist city to develop a riverine flood model + coastal inundation model 2. Assist city to develop DRR tools (SOPs, flood simulation exercise, risk assessment, CBDRM training manuals) 3. Assist city to develop demonstration projects

Output

1) review of flood modelling data collection methodology (Ms. Wang Yi, ADPC expert) 2) review of community preparedness training curriculum and module (Ms. Gabrielle Iglesias, ADPC expert) 3) observation of community training (Ms. Gabrielle Iglesias, ADPC expert) 4) observation of simulation field exercise at Semarang (Ms. Gabrielle Iglesias and Mr. Ryan Zaldy Abrera, ADPC experts)
