Enhancing drought resilience and crop yield security in Viet Nam

Ethiopia Disaster Risk Management (DRM) mainstreaming guideline launched

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – The Disaster Risk Management (DRM) mainstreaming guideline for Ethiopia was launched on 11 October, 2018 in a ceremony attended by 500 people to celebrate the International Day for Disaster Reduction (IDDR). During the event, ADPC also displayed its publications and briefed participants on its disaster risk reduction initiatives across Asia and the Pacific.

Launch of the Sendai Framework Monitor free online course

Bangkok, Thailand – The United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR), in collaboration with Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC), has launched a Sendai Framework Monitor free online learning course. The free online course provides guidance for Member States, or involved partners, on preparing and uploading national or local data to the Sendai Framework Monitor platform.
