Assessment and Mapping of the Flood-Vulnerability Indices in the Lower Mekong River Basin Project

Expected outcomes: NMCs, line agencies and NGOs, IOs understands the FMMP and its specific project on “Assessment and Mapping of Flood-Vulnerability Indices in the Lower Mekong River Basin”. In turn, MRCS/FMMP understands the current flood risk management activities of these agencies/organizations; The outcomes of phase are well shared and received by agencies/organizations; Cooperation between MRCS/FMMP and agencies/organizations in implementing the project are strengthened; Large number of agencies/organizations participates in the Partnership Working Group of the project implementation; The difficulties and feasibility solutions to overcome the problem will be identified. Participants: 30-35 in each country (Lao PDR, Cambodia and Vietnam) Participants in these National Workshops will include NMCs, NDMOs, National Line Agencies, National and International NGOs and typical provinces: NMCs: 2-3 Line agencies at National level: 08 NGOs and IOs: 15 Typical province, district and commune: 02 in each level Please see the list of agencies/organizations over three countries to be worked with under this project for information.
