ADPC bids farewell to Sri Lankan
Ambassador to Thailand
A
farewell luncheon was held on 2
April 2007 for H.E. Mr. J.D.A.
Wijewardena, Ambassador of Sri Lanka
to Thailand, who has served as a
Member of the ADPC Board of Trustees
during his tenure here and has been
a close supporter of ADPC's work in
the region. Dr. Suvit Yodmani,
Minister for Sports & Tourism, Prof.
Dr. Krasae Chanawongse, ADPC Board
of Trustees Chairman, Dr. Bhichit
Rattakul, Executive Director a.i.,
alongside H.E. Lt. Gen (Ret) Khateer
Hasan Khan, Ambassador of Pakistan,
H.E. Shahid Akhtar, Ambassador of
Bangladesh, H.E Mr Antonio
Rodriguez, Ambassador of the
Philippines with ADPC Directors
attended the luncheon. Dr. Suvit
Yodmani expressed his personal
gratitude and that of ADPC's to
Ambassador Wijewardena for his
valuable contributions and continual
support that he has offered after
his departure from Thailand.
